Vala's Pumpkin patch

Fall is in the air and we kicked off the season with the annual trip to Vala's Pumpkin Patch.  This year was extra special because Auntie Sher was in town to get in on the action!

The girls LOVED feeding the goats... we spent a really long time getting up close and personal with them!

On to the pig races... Do you see any volunteers that want to enter the pig race really really badly?

And she was chosen from the crowd!! :)  Nyah was assigned the purple pig... who ended up being the WINNER!

and she won this prized pig nose which she let Ali try on first. :)  What a sweet big sister!

like sneaking a swig of Mom's DC!

Dad put the kibosh on that idea real fast!

This place is so beautiful... a fantasy fall destination!  We took a hayrack ride through acres and acres of big orange pumpkins!

It was so fun to spend some time with my sister Sher!  She is a 5-star Sister and Auntie!!!!

This slide is actually really fast and scary last year I caught air and landed flat on my back like a rag doll... it was really embarrassing!!  This year Ali and I gripped the sides like a scared cat all the way down.

Back to business in the corn sandbox!

Who would have thought that corn could be so much fun... It's a good thing we live in Nebraska where there is definitely no corn shortage! :)

Nyah and Ali had a fabulous time pretending the giant pillow was a ship and that one or the other had gone overboard... it was a 911 crisis to pull sister to safety!

Despite my growing prego belly I made an attempt at jumping!  A mothers love!  The great concentration on my face is due to my desperately trying not to pee my pants!! :)

After the pumpkin patch we said goodbye to Auntie Sher and she flew away... We had a wonderful weekend checking out Omaha and designing crazy mermaid costumes :)... and cannot wait for her return!!

A few days later Derek went to get Nyah out of the back seat... to find her sporting her beloved piggie prize fast asleep!  Sweet piggie dreams my lamb.
