Bear Lake

We went to Bear lake for the annual Poulsen Family Reunion... you know things are relaxed when Grandpa Poulsen trades in his cowboy hat for a baseball hat!! :)

Nyah is considering giving into cousin peer pressure to jump into the frigid water... she is considering the risks if she holds onto the rope...

in she goes and she is so glad she did!!

Then we couldn't keep her out... well as long as she has her rope :)

4-star cousin accommodations at the lake with lounge rides...

and kayak excursions... Ali loved adventuring with Addie! 

It was a fun filled weekend full of relaxation... we had a splendid time!

Nyah entered a coloring contest at a darling Dippidee bakery near my Mom's house... and 

of course she won!  I was not at all surprised!! :) This girl has some mad coloring skills!!  Her prize was a free cupcake and a gift card... along with a life-time of bragging rights!  Ha!

MOVIES AND OUTINGS WITH AUNTIE SHER

We saw a lot of movies this summer... we got a summer pass to the weekly dollar theater showings... aka sit in a cold dark theater and drink diet coke and eat candy guilt free!  But the kids really did like the movies too.  :)

A couple of times sweet Auntie Sher took time out of her BUSY schedule to come to Logan and play... we went to lunches and movies... my girls REALLY love their Auntie Sher!!

BACK TO BUSINESS IN BEAR LAKE

We headed back to Bear Lake for the immediate Poulsen family reunion... Here the cousins are painting frames on the beach in their official reunion t-shirts aka night gowns :) provided by Mick and Callie.

We rented a giant inflatable trampoline on the water... it was actually really far out and I had to swim with my arm out of the to protect my camera to score all the action...

Nyah was in heaven playing with her cousins, aunts, and uncles!

As much as I love trampolines and slides I hate cold water so it wasn't until it was time to leave that I braved the slide with Nyah... only because there was no other way to shore... and living on the tramp was not an option! :)

CRAFT CAMP

I signed Nyah up for a craft camp with some of her Logan friends... probably not your highest quality :) but she loved it!  :)

Goodbye to Logan we had a super fun and adventurous summer... Goodbye to all the friends and family that made it so.

Back in Omaha

We headed straight for Lake Manawa Beach to soak up as much of what was left of the summer sun!

The girls love it here... Ali has had a lot of good times with her trusty turtle life jacket.

The 3 picnic queens... we take a picnic wherever we go and we are usually on the go!

SCHOOL DAYS 

I did some research and found a most incredible preschool out west here called Kindernook.  Here is Nyah on her first day of school... she squeals literally like a school girl everyday that she gets to go to preschool... it has been a truly fabulous experience for her!
