Phone Pics

I take a lot of random pictures with my phone and have never posted any... here are a few from the past few months...

This is a hilarious video of Nyah when we were still living in Logan... She has no idea I am videoing and she is very much in character!! :)  Look for this star on the big screen one day with this kind of talent.  Ha!

At the zoo in the Jungle

At the Imax checking out a movie in 3-D

Slides downtown... both girls love these so much!

Ali at Wal-Mart... very appropriate since we find ourselves here every other day it feels like :)

Some of my favorite things :)

This is Nyah and her friend Tessa... I think Tessa might be the one person in the world that likes princess' even more than Nyah... and that's saying something.  They have a lot of fun together!

Nyah bonding with a statue of her favorite animal!!

Nyah and I had a mommy-daughter date to the Imax (yes again)...

and a bounce house.

Derek doing my hair for the first (and last time) Ha! Good thing I had friend close by that does hair.  There are ways to save money while going to school... having your husband do your hair is not one of them! HA!  I love him for trying though! :)

At the park across the street from the gym.

My girls go to a music class called cherubs... they both love it... but I have been surprised at how fast Ali has picked it up!  Check out this drumming action.

At the Crock center with Ali's friend Taya.... Super fun kid pool... but a little cold for my taste so we haven't been back. ;)

Ali had so much fun she wore herself out.

At the aquarium at the zoo... They have the most AMAZING aquarium and it has been under construction this winter... I can't wait for them to open it up again!

Nyah with some streamer action at cherubs.

Here are the four amigos... we have had a lot of fun with these two little girls and their mom since we moved here... They are only weeks apart... and make a great group!

Ali playing in the ball room at the Children's Museum

We find ourselves at the Children's Museum at least once a week... it is such an incredible place for kids! Today Nyah had her picture taken for the newspaper because they are doing an article on it... very appropriate that she would be the poster child... she LOVES it!

I couldn't find Ali anywhere... I was calling her name and looking everywhere ... then I went to walk downstairs and saw her at the bottom of the stairs making her way up with a can of DC :) She would have had dig it out of the storage room and lug it over to and up the stairs...  I laughed so hard... someone is trying to score some brownie points with her mom with a cold beverage! :) HA!

Peeking out at the park

Chowing pizza with her BFF Taya at the zoo.

Trying on Halloween costumes at the Dollar store...

We took a ferry ride down the Missouri river for my birthday... it was fun... but a chilly activity for October :)

We asked a guy to take our pic with my phone because we forgot our camera... we got one low quality picture with my eyes closed... awesome. HA! :)

Sandwiches at the zoo... we take a picnic wherever we go... I just throw one in the car every morning because I never know where we will be at lunch... but we are always prepared.

park.

Monkeys at the zoo.

My girls are so beautiful when they are sleeping... it always pulls at my heart strings... I always make all kinds of promises to myself staring at there angelic sleeping faces... and I usually break all of the promises before breakfast is even over :) HA... it's work in progress!

More Children's Museum... they always have really great crafts and Nyah is an AWESOME painter...

especially when it comes to her face :)

Ali too... they have do-it-yourself face painting

This is a sculpture they have outside that makes chiming noises when you sit on it... it is a must-do EVERY time even in sub zero temperatures with wind chill! :)

We were headed to get flu shots and I chickened out half way there and took the girls to the downtown slides instead :) it ended up in tears anyway because Nyah ran full speed down a hill and her knee kissed the pavement at the bottom.

It was all ok after playing in the leaves with Ali (I will be posting all 9000 pictures) and stopping by wheatfields bakery for a big chocolate cookie :)

They always have beautiful swans and ducks by the water... Nyah is a little leery after one hissed at her but Ali is ready to cruise the water on their backs if she can just get close enough.

Derek has to miss the bedtime routine a lot when he has to study late so he usually will get a "goodnight Dad!" pic

After the gym I will ask Nyah what she wants to do... this day she said play with puppies... so I found a huge puppy kennel with 100 puppies of all kinds at your fingertips to play with :)

of course she wanted to take one home!!!  I told her maybe someday (MAYBE... with a secret probably never) :)

We had to settle for petting the guinea pigs. :)

Ali feels like such a big girl outside.  There are always kids playing down the sidewalk and Nyah will run and join them... then Ali will start running and then turn around and say "BYE MOM!" 5 times just so I know that she is a big girl and is off on her way.

We will hit up the downtown library every now and then for a stack of new books...  I turned my back the other day for 1 min and the girls were helping themselves to some technology.

This is Polar Bear and Cub Club... they read a story and then make a craft related to the story and then go visit that animal... today was the hungry caterpillar

This is a picture of the kids club at the gym... I took it so Derek could have a visual of where we go everyday!  The girls love it... it is my favorite part of the gym too!  They both run in and wave goodbye over their shoulder.

Outside the gym... this is my SANITY!!!

Ali Changing her babies bum... after 14 diapers of her own a day I guess she's got the drill down... now if we can just get her to change her own?  Hmmmm.... :)

1st snow!  The girls laughed and I cried! :)

During finals I sent Derek pics of the girls to keep up moral... here are a couple... Ali wants to be just like Nyah... Here she is in Nyah's nightgown.

Beading (thanks Grandma Dahle).

At the dentist! She was very brave.  NO CAVITIES!!!  YAHOOOoooooooopooo!!!!!!!!! :)

We had a really warm January and spent some time outside it was really great!  Ali has four teeth coming in so this is a very common sight. :)

Ali loves any kind of hat... she is always getting into my hat box for one here she is in Derek's :)
