I was really behind on my blogging because, well....because I have TWO kids so you may have to go pretty far back to get caught up with us the last few moths. :)

Taking Matters Into Our Own Hands
All the snow in our yard was melted except for this huge pile left by the snow blower so Nyah and I took shovels and spread it all over the yard to melt. I think the neighbors were frightened I got a lot of texts one of which said that, that is what old people do?...oh well..we needed it gone! We made a pretty good dent in the pile...and I'm not lying to you when I say the next morning I woke up and pulled up the blind to see a winter wonderland! It had SNOWED! How hilarious! A girl can try? Right?
Ali took a spin around the block in her sweet ride! :)
Picnic in January
Nyah has been begging for a picnic so after Sams Club the other day I through out a blanket and made her dreams come true. It felt so warm Nyah through her coat into the wind and ran around the yard in her socks...Ali preferred to sit and soak up the rays on the blanket...which might be because she can't move. Ha :)
Stroller Speed Skating
I bundled the girls up tight loaded them into the stroller and off we went skating through our neighborhood. Despite the fear in their eyes and the look on their faces like "is this really our mother?" they really did have a good time...they were belly laughing especially when we took some large hills. :)
Spring Time in Our Hearts
The grass is green, the sun is shining, and the temperature is a whopping 32 degrees! So we headed out to the swing set. I crushed my finger trying to hang Ali's swing and she got stuck a couple of times trying to get her in but after some bad words they had a splendid time! Hopeful the effects of the frost bite won't be permanent? :)
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
One Saturday morning Nyah and I decided to make a snowman...I made a huge ball...and then another...and then when I tried to lift that ball my back gave way and I collapsed. Ok not really but there was no way that ball was going to make it on top of the other one...so I left it to the side, made four more...added some antennas... and WAH-LA a Caterpillar! We made his eyes and smile out of acorns (Nyah thought they were coconuts. Close.)
All For One and One For All
Nyah got Barbie in the 3 musketeers for Christmas and while watching the movie decided that she was the 4th musketeer! So I did what any normal mom would do I made a sword out of a wooden dowel, put on a skirt then I ran to the living room and did a cartwheel in front of her! She got so excited and wanted a cape for herself so I tied a blanket around her neck...it kept falling off which led to our next activity... I sewed (and I don't sew) the cape pictured above out of scraps. Pretty impressive huh? I know. I was really surprised at myself...but don't look to closely! If your eye ventures around the room you will see the mess that accompanied the project that almost swallowed us! It was mostly the 9000 distraction for Ali so I could get crafty! All for one and one for all!
Lunch with Grandpa and Grandma K
We met my Grandpa and Grandma Kress, Mom, and Sister for lunch and I had to post a bunch of pics of my cute Grandparents!
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
This is the best shot I could get of Nyah she was running all over the place! I think my sister Dee got some hilarious shots of my Grandpa throwing her over his head? Dee if you're out there I need those pics. :)
Kissing Cousins
Kissing cousins or more like eat your face off cousins...did I mention how much Ali likes her cousin Liam? We went back to my Mom's the week after Christmas to spend some more time with my sisters it was really fun!
Uncle Dan and Nyah composed a beautiful piece including all of the princess'! We got it all on video but the file is to large to post...it really was quite impressive!! Really!
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Nyah almost had a heart attack when she saw the Christmas display before her eyes!! She flew onto the couch and took turns wearing all of her dresses while opening up all her presents!
Here is the Cinderella doll she had LONG been waiting and asking for! We saw it in Wal Mart one day and she asked for it... and I was thinking...that is one ugly doll I am sure she will forget about it...Nope! As we were leaving I muttered under my breath "I am never coming back here again." (one of those days at Wal Mart) Nyah went hysterical "Mom you have to come back to Wal Mart this is where my Cinderella doll is!" Then everytime we drove past Nyah would say "That's Wal Mart that's where my Cinderella is!" She also picked the exact one out of a line up at Toys R Us when I was trying to trick her into another one. She also told the 900 Santa's that we saw before Christmas that, that is the one she wanted. So Santa couldn't let her down!! She was so pleased!
Derek got me an over-night bag which I asked for and I set it aside...then he kept pushing me to open and look at it...I thinking...uh I can see the picture on the side?...here is a play by play of what happened next! Ha!
Ali got the goods as well (even though she could have cared less) you can see she's just in it for the candy...that's my girl!
Breakfast with uncle Dan.
It was a Christmas to remember!!!!!!!!! I LOVED having a 3 year this year it was so amazingly fun!! I can't wait until next Year!
Christmas Eve at Grandma Dahle's
I LOVE Christmas eve at my Mom's we play a white elephant game that is so hilarious, then unwrap jammies and try feverishly to cause a black eyes around the room... rolling the wrap into balls and hurling it at each and while while crying with laughter, read the nativity, put the kids to bed...yada yada yada for those who still believe...and then wind down in front of a movie until the wee hours in the morning.
Ali is a little excited about the stack of presents that are bigger than she is!
Here she is with her favorite cousin little Liam...they are tasting the Christmas wrap and they give it 4 stars!
So cute!
Here are all the Dahle Grankids in one striped bunch!
It's Ali's year to be more excited about the wrap than the actual presents and she is making the most of it!
Nyah's Christmas eve included facials with Auntie Sher...a favorite past time...her Auntie Sher sure knows her creams! :)
Her and Dad looking for Reindeer...
and leading them in with some official Reindeer food.
Putting up her stocking
Writing a letter to Santa and leaving him some cookies and chocolate yorks just to butter him up.
I grabbed a shot of the display after Santa cruised off in his sleigh...I was SOOOOOOOO excited for Nyah to wake up to it!!
Christmas Eve at Poulsen Ranch
We went for a horse drawn sleigh ride to sing carols...it was so much fun...and surprisingly warm! :)
Ali was loving it!
I'm not sure how the neighborhood liked our carols though? :) Here is Derek belting them out!
Nyah loves her Grandpa Poulsen she wanted a front row seat to check out the horse's behinds and there was a great view from grandpa's lap.
What a wonderful start to a magical Christmas Eve night.
Hmmmm...I'm still going to need that Cinderella doll Santa...
Ali is not quite sure...
But a big Christmas present can make just about anything alright! :)
Ali is all in for this thing called Christmas!
Grandma Poulsen made all the Grand-Girls matching nighties and they were crazy about them...here is Nyah with her cousin Raegan... Nyah is belle...and Raegan is sleeping beauty. :)
