Grandma Poulsens Funeral

Grandma Poulsen passed away last Monday. She was the sweetest lady ever, and it was painful to say goodbye...but she is with Grandpa now, and oh so happy I am sure of it :)

The weather was rainy and Nyah loved the umbrellas :)

I'm sorry I just had to post this one too.

Poulsen Turkey Day Gobble, Gobble, and what the heck one more GOBBLE!

K does this set up remind you of anything...? Really nothing? Come one... it's the feast where the Grinch carves the roast beast... The tables were set up exactly the same! Ha...I'm at the head of the table...but I did not carve the roast beast? Thanksgiving came close to being just another Sunday dinner but some Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins came in and saved the day...we had a FULL house!

Dahle's Earlybird Thanksgiving

My little sister Camille had a soccer tournament in St George so my family had Thanksgiving a day early. Lucky for me it was my year to be at Poulsens so I got Thanksgiving FEAST two days in a row!

Nyah got to spend some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa Dahle :)

Andrea and Josh Trimming the tree...and putting up lights Oh I love this time of year!

Nyah's First word is "WOOF WOOF" (maybe thats 2?)

It's true Nyah barks at any and all dogs...Live, stuffed, ones on the TV, Computer... So we were at the book table the other day... Sometimes I let her hold toys through the store and then put them back... Not this time! I gave her this dog and she WOULD NOT let it go. The clerk had to scan it while she had a death grip on it in her stroller. She takes him everywhere she goes. His name is woof, woof. She does say versions of mamamama and dadadadad...but one things for sure she loves woof, woofs!

Christmas Tree Auction

This is quickly becoming a tradition. Smithfield Chamber of Commerce has put on a Christmas Tree Auction Dinner the last two years which is a lot of fun. The dinner was a lot better this year...however nothing could beat Callie (my sister in law) accidentally bidding on and winning a tree last year...I laughed so hard I cried. The auction was still pretty hilarious this year. :) This is Callie's tree that she auctioned off...isn't it awesome!

BREAKING NEWS - Nyah has leg warmers.

Some days it just kills me that she is growing up soooooooo fast I was walking out of church today holding her in a tutu and leg warmers…the sun was shining and she was just laughing out loud for no reason…I wanted to put it in a bottle and save it forever…I LOVE being her mom!!!

TIIIIIIIMMMBERR...

The minute we walked through the door to check out this house with our realtor Derek and I said in unison "that wall has got to go!" So here it is... Going...

Going...

and GONE!

Nyah being o-so helpful :)

Green Thumbs Up

So I became one with Mother Earth last Saturday when I planted my very first flower! Well I should say flowerS because I planted a couple hundred tulips...hopefully most of them are planted right-side up. Ha! I surprised myself by actually enjoying it a little...maybe too much...I started making Bob Ross comments like...Yes, yes a little flower over here by a tree where a little squirrel might live :)

Back in the Game

Aggie basketball started another season the other night and we are so pleased!

Nyah went to her first game at 3 weeks old last year...i know abusive...but she didn't seem to mind at all. This year she loves the music, crowd and action of the game!

It only took a year...but we did it!

As soon as I found out I was due in October I planned on getting a mini costume for my baby and started making over the top Halloween plans...what I didn't know is I would be flat on my back for a month after she was born...needless to say I was disappointed at missing out on Halloween fun last year...so we made up for it this year!
We went trick or treating with Sarah and Jayci at the mall and down Main St.

Really though have you ever seen a cuter bumble bee...really?

I mean really? :)

The best part about being a mom is getting to relive your childhood through your kids! ;) Legit trick or treating...and here comes Santa Clause :)

extra videos at the request of my twin sis ;)

Operating Heavy Machinery

Now that Nyah is one we feel she is old enough to help out with some of our home improvement projects :) ...Here she is operating a skid steer for a cement pad we are going to poor. The home improvement list seems endless...but we are cracking away at it!

And the pumpkin carving survery contest winner is.....da da da daaah Jason Poulsen
