Trevor Is HOME!

My Brother came home from his mission and here are some pics of the splendid affair!

Nyah was a little shy at first... she was just barely one when he left.

Ali wasn't shy at all in fact she got up close and personal by tasting his hand first thing.

After Nyah did warm up she couldn't get enough uncle Trevor time.

Fair and Rodeo

We go to the Rodeo every year because Derek's Dad is the Chairman...and it is a great time.

This was Ali's first year!

Getting down and dirty with the swines!  Nyah loves bacon...she also loves Charlotte's Web...(she doesn't know there is a connection.)  :)

We went to the rodeo with my sister Kellie and her husband Darrick and there little Addie-Cakes on top.  We sampled deep fat fried Twinkies and Oreos.  Not a huge fan...which is a good thing if you got hooked on those you would have a heart attack in a week.  

Our favorite part of the rodeo was the poker bull-fight as usual...Nyahs fav was her cousins...and our sweet little Ali was just happy to be there.

Here is a sampling of my and Nyah's moves that take place just about every day in the kitchen.  She is not shy to show them off in public anytime anywhere!

Cardboard Box Drive-in Movie

My sister-in-law Callie has a drive in movie at her house and Nyah decided that she wanted to cruise in style in a big yellow school bus!  So naturally Derek and I stayed up most of the night making it happen. :)  here is Derek spray painting it.  Since we didn't prime it first there was a second run to Wal Mart for several more cans of spray paint.

 I took care of the detail work inside.

It turned out pretty awesome

She loved it.

And had a GREAT time at the movies.  Except the movie they showed was Matilda...a movie about a little girl who goes to school with a VERY SCARY principle.  I'm not sure Nyah was happy she was in a school bus after all.  HA!  :)

There was a pretty good turn out!

The next morning Nyah insisted that she was morning cartoons in the bus!

Uncle Trevor Is Coming Home

My brother Trevor is about to come home from his mission so we had a weekend at Grandma's to get ready for it.  Here is Nyah having her feet painted to make a poster for the airport.

 Later we went to the Sandy Aquarium 

 Jelly fish are my fav I wouldn't mind having them in my house.  :)

Nyah was memorized by the fish...especially the sharks...she even got to pet a stingray.

Ali's First Bites...and Sisterhood

Well here it is...Ali at four months taking a walk on the wild side and trying solid food...Not real impressed but we have high hopes.

Nyah even tried her hand at feeding her...among other things.

Nyahs is entertaining Ali with a magic trick with a cup and a ball.  No one can make Ali laugh like Nyah  they are going to be great friends I think.

And reading to her...little sweeties!!

She is so motherly even at night she sacrifices like a mother and lets her babies take the pillow while she sleeps on the bare mattress.  The power of a mothers love!  :)
