The nursery is making some progress I did pick out the bedding. I think we will be moving her into her crib soon. She slept until 5 without waking up last night so she might be ready :)! Well, actually she'll probable wake up five times in the night tonight. The one thing i've learned is you can never plan on anything.

In January i did some guest lecturing at BATC for their design program. It was interesting being on the other side of learning. They are wanting me to do some workshops for their program later this months. We'll see. I have also been shooting quite a bit which really keeps me Hoppin...with my little side-kick!

Here are Nyah's Blessing pictures, only a couple months late. I did not take them. It was too stressful...Her dress is so incredible!!!! Connie my mother-in-law made it and it turned out Amazing!!

Since obviously nothing else is going on in our lives I will post yet again another picture of Nyah. I found this hat and had to have it. I think she wore it one time and has now grown out of it, but we are learning that that is just the way baby clothes go, they don't last long. Oh well it was cute while it lasted.

Any questions?

These pictures are just so that everyone knows how good of a dad Derek is. He is so willing to help with Nyah I don't know what I would do with out him. If I ever need to go somewhere it is nice knowing that if I leave the two of them that she will be taken care of just as good or even better than if I were there. Thank's Derek

What happens when Nyah gets startled in her sleep?

It makes her very mad.

Card Junkie

Well what can I say, I live to make cards. It is my new found hobby and I love it. The best part about making cards is that I usually finish making the ones that I want to send to people each Sat. at 12:25 P.M. about 5 min. before the post office closes. So at 12:25 I am running through the house like a chicken with my head cut off gathering all the cards to be mailed, my purse, keys, shoes and packing tape then out the door I go. I arrive at the post office at 12:29 and 59 seconds, just in time to beat the lady to the door before she locks it. I think I am forming some lasting relationships with the postal workers. I know they would rather spend more time at work with me than they would at home with their families.

CHRISTMAS

Christmas was FABULOUS...yes it's February and I am writing about christmas! We did our usual...spending most of the holiday on the road...this year in a life-threatening blizzard! But it was worth it. We have such great families...that make the holidays super bright! (and no I did not have a nose job it's a tag stuck to my new glasses)

Well this is what I got for Christmas! The Larkin crib. Isn't it beautiful? This is the picture out of the catalog...Nyah's nursery is not done yet. It was my January project...turned into my February project...and will hopefully be started sometime in March! Being a mom is a little time consuming. :)
