4 excellent years together

Well I can't believe we have been married for 4 years today. We dated for three years and I figured that it would seem like forever till the time would come when we had been married longer than we had dated, but here we are. Life has been great and will continue on that same path. Carrie is an excellent loving wife and an even better mother and I am so happy to have her.

Bath and bed time

Nyah is not to fond of bath time so we have to take advantage of the rare occasions in which she isn't upset during it. Usually it consists of us singing to her, bouncing her through the water which she seems to enjoy, or simply giving her a turbo wash as fast as possible to get it over with so we can console her. This time however she seemed to be quite content and possibly even enjoying it without letting on to much to it in fear that Mom and Dad would find out.

After bath time we got her decked out in her newest addition to her wardrobe. Grandma Dahle bought some pajamas to give to her for Christmas but since she is growing so fast she was granted permission to wear them before hand. It's a good thing too because they fit her perfectly right now.

Growing Like a Weed

Let's see if we can figure out this whole blog thing. It will probably be easier than trying to send out numerous emails anyhow. Life has been great for the 3 of us. It has taken some getting used to ever since Nyah came into the picture. Learning how to be a parent is quite interesting, you automatically jump to conclusions with everything. "If she cries more than 2 mins. straight she must be colicky ( I think that is how you spell that)" "If she throws up she for sure has reflux." "If she doesn't sleep at least 6 hours straight through the night we think we will die from exhaustion," and so goes the list. But in the end none of it is ever true and it simply comes down to the fact that she is a baby and this is what babies do. Either way we are loving being parents and hate to see her grow up so quickly. She will be 6 weeks old this Thursday.

Here's Nyah sleeping in her bouncer during decoration time..........smart girl.
